The Connected Lawyer – New MacBook

images.jpegMy brand new MacBook arrived today. My first impressions are this is a wonderful Mac. But, than again it is a Mac. I have been spending the afternoon moving applications from the iBook to the MacBook. It is as easy as plugging the two together with a Firewire cord and following the simple instructions.

I have noticed a very visible difference in the speed the MacBook provides as compared the iBook. I had 2 gig of RAM installed on the MB as compared to .750 on the iBook. I also purchased the new Core 2 Duo processor. All I can say it is very fast.

If any of you are considering switching to the Mac, I would recommend the new MacBook. I look forward to putting it through the paces over the next few days.

  • I've been using a MacBook Pro for several months now and I'm completely won over by it. I've been a Mac user for 15 years but never been so impressed before (this is my third laptop - my first, now about 10 years old weighs about 50 times as much). I particularly like the built-in camera for video-conferencing which I thought would only be a jolly gadget but actually has been really useful.
